  • What industries do you focus on?

    We place executives at PE-backed companies across a broad spectrum of services, distribution, manufacturing, and software companies. We’re end market agnostic.

  • What types of private equity firms work with Rate of Return?

    A wide range of middle market firms use Rate of Return to find executive talent. They acquire profitable companies that vary in size from $25m in revenue at the low end up through $250m in revenue at the high end.

  • What kinds of executives do these PE firms look for?

    At its core, private equity looks for executives that know how to “do more with less” and deliver results in a demanding environment.
    • These executives tend to have prior experience in senior roles at PE-backed, publicly traded, or elite privately-held companies.
    • CEO candidates have either previously served as CEO, run a company division, or served in a President / COO role with meaningful P&L responsibility.
    • CFO candidates have prior PE-backed experience as a CFO or VP of Finance. Experience in a leveraged environment is a must.
  • What regions do you operate in?
